Island Life- Thailand

We just spent the last two days on a remote little island (koh yao yair) which only had 1000 people. The resort was called Santhiya koh yao yai resort and spa. Any honeymooners out there you have to come here!! It is by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at.
The best thing we did on the island was rent scooters and drive them around it was such a fun atmosphere to see a little glimpses of the locals life. I’m in love with the people here. While we were scooting we stopped at which I want to say the only elementary school and played with them during their recess. It brought back flash backs to when I went to Guatemala with a group of girlfriends and we worked in an orfananage . The kids are all just so happy to be with you.

Phuket -Thailand

Can I stay here forever??

Today might be my favorite day yet – Lets pretend I don’t say that for every day on this  trip ;) It was a little bit of a honeymoon situation but everyone needs one of those every once in awhile. We flew to Phuket two days ago and we have been staying at the Weston, which is glam town. Yesterday we just hung out and relaxed enjoyed the pools and beaches. I feel like I’m in a very tropical part of America staying at the Westin brings is getting a little piece of home….(Which has its pros and cons) . But lets get back today we booked an excursion through the hotel where took a boat over to the phi phi islands. The whole day Whitney and I kept repeating “is this real life” it honestly was so pretty it looked fake. I’m slowly getting over my fear of fish and spent probably over an hour snorkeling. The water is just like a never-ending pool with such bright fish everywhere! Our guild (Tik) gave  us bread to feed the fish and hundreds would just come at once. Another highlight was feeding the monkey on the beach. They were so cute the best was feeding a mama monkey and the baby was hanging on its stomach- My heart melted.

As you can see Ryan is still wearing his shirt 90 percent of the time he is in the sun-
You would think he was just a little middle school child who thought he was chubby.. but he claims he hate the sun ;)

Thailand is the perfect mix between adventure and vacation it really has it all. And every time I think I could not love this place more it just gets better.

Yesterday and today were pretty magical… It really was like we were living in a dream.. Just ridding elephants through rivers, played with tigers  dancing with the Thailand people. I feel like bucket list things were getting crossed out left and right.
